Safari Highlights..

This safari first takes you to the famous Murchison Falls National Park, with its massive 43 meter falls of boiling water crashing into the wooded country below. In addition to a close up tour of the falls, you also have the opportunity to join boat cruises on the mighty river Nile whose banks are thronged with Hippos, crocodiles, waterbucks and buffaloes. Game drives present you with lions, leopards, chimpanzee giraffes, buffaloes, hartebeests, or ibis, Uganda kob.

Your safari continues to the Kibale Forest National Park with the highest concentration of primates in Africa. Home to over 13 primate species and over 325 bird species, Kibale is the best place to track habituated chimpanzees. Your journey continues to the Queen Elizabeth National Park with amazing wildlife viewing opportunities in Uganda’s largest savannah park. Here you have the chance to view large concentrations of hippos, birds and elephants along the Kazinga Channel.

Your safari continues to the Queen Elizabeth National Park which offers you one of the most diverse ecosystems in Africa. The park is situated in the western arm of the Great Rift Valley covering 1,978 square kilometres of semi-deciduous tropical forests, green meadows, arid savannahs and swamps bordering the river Nile.

The Ishasha sector of the park is also home to the famous tree climbing lions as well as the Uganda kob, various antelope’s species, topis, hyenas, crocodiles, waterbucks, elephants, baboons, hippos, buffaloes, and 10 primate species including chimpanzees and monkeys. Over 500 species of birds have been recorded here such as the black bee-eater, king fisher, several species of falcons and eagles. During your visit, you also have the chance for a boat ride of the famous Kazinga Channel, which links Lake Edward to Lake George.

There is also a visit to Lake Bunyonyi, Uganda’s deepest volcanic lake and finally you depart to the Lake Mburo National Park, which is Uganda’s smallest savanna park. Lake Mburo National Park is the best park to see zebras, giraffes, impala, oribs, buffalo, and the sitatunga antelope complemented by a entertaining boat ride on Lake Mburo.
