Your safari continues to the Queen Elizabeth National Park which offers you one of the most diverse ecosystems in Africa. The park is situated in the western arm of the Great Rift Valley covering 1,978 square kilometres of semi-deciduous tropical forests, green meadows, arid savannahs and swamps bordering the river Nile.

The Ishasha sector of the park is also home to the famous tree climbing lions as well as the Uganda kob, various antelope’s species, topis, hyenas, crocodiles, waterbucks, elephants, baboons, hippos, buffaloes, and 10 primate species including chimpanzees and monkeys. Over 500 species of birds have been recorded here such as the black bee-eater, king fisher, several species of falcons and eagles.
